1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on or accessed from your device when you use a website.
They can be used for purposes such as keeping a website secure, remembering information during a session, processing transactions or understanding how a website is used.
2. Our current use of cookies
City Seekers currently aims to keep tracking to a minimum.
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies to track visitors for marketing purposes.
In particular, we do not currently intentionally operate behavioural advertising or visitor-tracking technologies through the City Seekers website.
3. Strictly necessary technologies
Our website, booking system and technology providers may use cookies or similar storage that are strictly necessary to:
- keep the website secure;
- operate essential website functionality;
- maintain a user or booking session;
- process a transaction;
- prevent fraud or abuse;
- remember information needed during checkout; or
- provide a service specifically requested by you.
Where a cookie is genuinely necessary to provide a service you have requested, consent may not be required.
4. Third-party services
City Seekers uses third-party technology providers to operate its website and booking service.
These may include services such as:
- Stripe for payment processing;
- Vercel for hosting;
- Supabase for application and database infrastructure; and
- other essential technical providers.
When you interact with a third-party service, that provider may use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with its own privacy and cookie information.
5. Analytics and advertising
City Seekers does not currently use non-essential analytics or advertising tracking cookies.
If we introduce tools such as website analytics, advertising pixels or similar non-essential tracking in future, we will update this policy and introduce an appropriate consent mechanism before using technologies that require consent.
Choosing not to consent to non-essential cookies will not prevent you from accessing the basic City Seekers website or making a booking.
6. Controlling cookies
You can control or delete cookies using your browser settings.
Blocking some strictly necessary technologies may affect the operation of the website, booking system or payment process.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this policy if the technology used by City Seekers changes.
The latest version will always display the date of the most recent update.
